  • 2022.04 Established the Yangsan branch
    Established the JeJu Center

2021

  • 2021.05 Opened a quality advancement center for small and medium-sized ship material and equipment
  • 2021.04 Completed a water tank test building

2020

  • 2020.10 Open Sound Test Center at the Mieum Headquarters
  • 2020.03 Construction of quality enhancement center for small and medium-sized ship equipment and materials at Jeonbuk Headquarters

2019

  • 2019.08 Opened the Korea-Russia Marine Equipment Center
  • 2019.06 Completed the Jeonnam Headquarters Small Vessel Maritime Test Support Center

2018

  • 2018.09 Participated in the Marine Tech Korea exhibition
  • 2018.08 Awarded the prime minister's award for the small-medium enterprise technology innovation competition
  • 2018.04 Opened the JangSooMyung Technical Support Center for Shipbuilding and Marine Equipment

2016

  • 2016.07 Completed the KOMERI Ballast Water In-Land Testing Facility
  • 2016.06 Opened the Performance Enhancement Test Research Center

2012

  • 2012.12 Established the Ulsan branch
  • 2012.03 Opened the Marine Plant Equipment Testing and Certification Center

2011

  • 2011.06 Established the Jeonbuk branch
  • 2011.04 Name changed to Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute

2010

  • 2010.01 Established the Gyeongnam branch

  • 2009.05 Established the Jeonnam branch

2008

  • 2008.10 Opened the Electronic Equipment Testing and Certification Center for Vessels

  • 2004.12 Completed the constrction of the Youngdo Research Institute
  • 2004.06 Completed the constrction of the Noksan Research Institute

  • 2001.12 Acquired permit to establish corporation from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy
